Girls Place 3rd at GHSA State Championship!

  • Congrats to the Boys and Girls JV teams who placed 2nd in the Region 6AAAAA JV Championships! The boys were just 1/2 point away from clinching the championship.

Week 6: Tri-Meet and Westlake Relays

  • The Westlake Relays was an exciting meet with lots of records broken!  Congrats to the boy's Sprint Medley Relay team for breaking AHS school record. The girls also set many school records: 4x200 Relay, 4x400 Relay, 4x800 Relay, Distance Medley, and Sprint Medley teams. Congratulations to athletes with National Elite standards: Kinn Badger, Keturah Williams, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay, Sprint Medley.
  • The Girls team is also ranked #4 in the “All-Class Power Rankings” by MileSplit GA!! 
  • Congrats to Kinn Badger for GA.Milesplit Athletes of the Month in AAAAA field events!
  • The Varsity also participated in a tri-meet at Centennial. Congratulations to all of the athletes who scored, and to Andre Harton who tied the AHS record for High Jump!
     

Week 5: JV Invite, Fulton County Championship

  • Congratulations to the Girls for winning the Fulton County Championship! Athletes who placed in the top 3 of their events: Keturah Williams (1st-100 meter, 1st-200 meter); Rachel Thorne (1st-1600m, 2nd-800m), Kinn Badger (1st-Triple jump); Natalie Bordes (1st-800m); Audrey Holt (1st-400m); Dayja Simon (2nd-3200m); 4x100 team (Kinn, Sydne, Audrey, Keturah - 2nd place); 4x400 team (Audrey, Natalie, Kinn, Keturah - 2nd place). Week 4: Gary Townsend Invitational

  • Congratulations to the Boys team for placing 5th!  Athletes who medaled are: Mitchell Narro (2nd in 1600 meter, 3rd in 3200 meter); Joseph Farris (2nd in 3200 meter), Andre Harton (3rd in High Jump); and Jordan Fray (2nd in Shot Put). Week 3: JV Westlake Invite, Jerry Arnold Challenge

  • The JV team participated in the 9th-10th Grade Westlake Invite.  Congratulations to all athletes who placed!  Full meet results can be found on the Results page.
  • The Varsity team competed in the Jerry Arnold Challenge. See Photos page for pictures. Congratulations to the girls team for placing second, and to all athletes on both teams who scored.  Congrats also to Natalie Bordes for breaking the school record in the 800 meter, and to the 4x100 relay team (Kinn Badger, Audrey Holt, Sydne Vanhorse, Keturah Williams) for breaking the Mill Creek stadium record!
  • A special congratulations to Natalie Bordes and Rachel Thorne for being selected as  GA.Milesplit Athletes of the Week for AAAAA Women Middle Distance/Distance!!
     

Week 2: Tri-meet, JV Mill Creek, Milton Showcase

  • The varsity team competed in a tri-meet with Lambert & South Forsyth on Feb 29th. Congratulations to Natalie Bordes who broke the school record for the 800 meter!
  • The JV team had a meet at Mill Creek. If you have pictures to share, contact Terry.
  • The varsity team competed in the Milton Showcase on March 3rd. Congratulations to the Girls team who placed 1st! Keturah Williams tied the stadium record in the 100 meter and Rachel Thorne broke the stadium record in the 1600 meter!  
     

Week 1: Feb 25th Big Orange Relay

  • Congratulations to the Girl’s Track Team who placed 3rd out of 20 teams at the Big Orange Relays and finished ahead of last year’s State champion! 
  • The girls placed 1st in the 4x800 meter, 4x1600 meter, and Triple Jump. They finished in 2nd in 4x100 meter, and 3rd in the 4x400 meter, Long Jump, and Distance Medley. 
  • Special recognition to Keturah Williams who had a great day, Rachel Thorne who made up for an 80 meter deficit in the mile, and Kinn Badger who broke the school record in the triple jump in her first meet at Alpharetta! 
  • Congrats also to the Boy's 4x1600 for breaking the school record!
     

Fundraisers

  • Thanks to athletes and parents who helped with our fundraisers! The Run-A-Thon was completed by 40+ athletes taking turns to keep the baton going for 24 hours. 
  • Thanks also to those who helped with the mattress sale especially athletes who stood out in the bitter cold!
  • Lastly, a HUGE thank you to our Fundraiser chair, Leah Narro!!
     

Kick-off Meeting on Thursday, January 19th

  • Our kick-off is January 19th at 7pm in the cafeteria. Athletes and parents will receive information about the season, turn in forms, and pay participation fees.
